Terms and Conditions

Lessons are 30 minutes long. The introductory lesson fee is $46 (GST included) and must be paid at the end of the lesson. Payment options are cash or direct deposit. EFTPOS facilities are unavailable.
Subsequent lessons are purchased in blocks of 5 lesson blocks at a cost of $230 (including GST). Payment for this must be made in full at the end of the first lesson of the block, otherwise, all lessons will cease. Late payments incur a $10 surcharge.
Alternatively, after the introductory lesson, you are able to pay for single (30 minute) lessons at a rate of $55. Payment is required at the end of each lesson. Note: This option does not come with a guaranteed time slot. For more about our lesson packages and pricing click here.

Notice of at least 24 hours must be given to cancel a lesson. If you fail to do so, the lesson will be forfeited. A cancellation includes verbal communication with your teacher and/or telephone communication to inform us that you are not attending the aforementioned lesson.
A make-up lesson may be offered provided you give us a minimum of 24 hours notice. All make-up lessons must be completed within the five-lesson weekly block and are subject to availability. Make-up lessons may not be carried over to subsequent lesson blocks.

Purchased five lesson packages (blocks) are non-refundable and one (1) block of five lessons is intended for use by a single student only.
When you purchase a five-lesson block, you will be allocated five (5) consecutive weekly lessons. Your five-lesson block will expire at the end of the fifth allocated lesson. Lessons may not be carried over to subsequent lesson blocks.
If any of the five weeks of the lesson block falls on a public holiday or school holiday*, the remaining lessons in the lesson block will continue from the date we re-open. *Note: Our operating dates may not exactly coincide with your school’s calendar. It is your responsibility to contact us to find out about our operating dates.
Please inform us at the end of your five (5) lesson block if you are continuing lessons and want to reserve a time slot.
After completing a five-lesson package, if you book a lesson for the following week and cancel without 24 hours notice, that lesson will be forfeited and charged. However, when at least 24 hours notice has been given, a make-up lesson may be offered as per the terms above. This will count as the first lesson of the new five-lesson package.

Do Re Mi Studios’ books and teaching materials must be purchased for use in the lessons and are non-refundable. Permission is required for all photocopying and reproduction.

Students’ instruments must not be left on our premises. Furthermore, Do Re Mi Studios is not liable
for any damage caused to instruments and equipment.
For everyone’s safety, members and their relatives and friends are strictly prohibited from playing games (e.g., tag, chase, etc.) or entering unattended rooms at any time while at Do Re Mi Studios. If you choose to do so, it is at your own risk.
